We are Ynglings – We have been specializing solely in Ynglings
since 1993. Come see our boatyard in Rhode Island! See how we
make the boats, but better yet come test-sail one. DeWolf Ynglings
are around the globe, so we’ll be able to find one near
you to see and sail. There’s a fleet full of them in Newport
that you can see and sail, or we can help you contact an owner
near you. We are sure they will be proud to show you their boat.
The DeWolf Advantage – Built the
best, By the best, For the best.
BUILT THE BEST
DeWolf Ynglings combine the industry’s best ideas, materials,
and construction. Top-quality American materials throughout, and
careful glass lay-up work results in a very stiff boat. Hand-shaped
keels meet the tolerances and provide optimum underwater shape.
Proprietary self-lubricating rudder bearings provide an unprecedented
smooth feel with minimal play in the tiller. A one-piece through-floor
mast support provides the stiffest hull to deck possible with
minimal compression allowing for precise rig tension control through
all wind and water conditions. DeWolf offers a choice of three
masts to suit your crew weight and style. Choose between Hall
Spars, John Mast, or Proctor Masts. Top-of-the-line hardware from
Harken, Frederiksen, Ronstan, along with innovative custom-made
hardware allow for the most efficient and functional layouts.
BY THE BEST
We’ve been building Ynglings for over 10 years, and have
been sailing them for over 15 years. We know the boat inside and
out. The crew at DeWolf boats has learned their craft in one of
the hottest centers of boat-building in the world. The heads and
hands behind our Ynglings have also made their mark at world-class
builders down the road. The world’s best America’s
Cup boats have come from Rhode Island, from Herreshoff in the
1800’s to Goetz in the 2000’s, and the best Ynglings
come from Rhode Island as well.
FOR THE BEST
DeWolf Ynglings are the choice of the best Yngling racers in the
world. But don’t take our word for it – check out
the standings of the top Yngling sailors: they have chosen DeWolf!
When will you?
